Cold Stone has nothing on us! Gluten-Free Snow Ice cream with some mix-ins! Dairy-Free, Nut-Free

I originally found this recipe on Pinterest & thought it would be a fun project for a snow day with my 2 boys.  Well, today was that day & it seems like at least a quarter of my FB friends are also making it today! (Guess I’m not so original after all)  Oh well, still prepared to make it tons of fun with the kiddos!

Here is the original recipe, I made 1 small change: Snow Ice Cream {courtesy of That’s Country Living}

You will need:

10 cups of CLEAN white snow (possibly more if the snow is super fluffy)

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup milk

MY personal substitutions….

I used organic sugar

& instead of regular milk, I used organic coconut milk

I threw in some frozen strawberries & white chocolate chips for the boys; they loved it!

It was a really fun experiment & the kids loved mixing it up!  Hubs even thought it was yummy, he was pretty skeptical at my plan. Non-cooking can be fun, experiment, enjoy!
