My name is Colette, I’m a wife, mother & entrepreneur (of sorts) … So, those are my “labels” some would probably (my husband) included call me a Hippy. I’ll take it, labels have never bothered me, because we all have them, we can choose them, reject them, doesn’t matter we still get them. Anyway my most recent acquisition in labels is Gluten Free, I was very sick (you can read a post or two about it) for a very long time before figuring out what was wrong. I am Gluten Intolerant, I will be putting up some posts about that as well & what the differences are between an intolerance, an allergy & Celiac disease. I have been attempting a start-up business venture, or adventure if you will, preparing gluten-free meals & delivering them to order to my local community, this is currently on the back burner due to start-up costs. I will however be offering private chef services (I use as many, fresh, organic & local ingredients as possible), locally within the next few months. I will also be offering cooking classes & workshops as well. Along with cooking gluten-free, I also offer a variety of allergen friendly recipes as well & try to label them as such. I am Serve Safe (food manager) Certified & and Allergen certified through the State of Massachusetts, I also hold all necessary business & catering licenses. I will be updating this blog as well to help educate people on how to live well and gluten-free & hopefully on a tight budget (because that’s what my budget is, Tight!) And hopefully we can add and maintain plenty of humor all along this journey!!
